Netflix is adding 32 new movies and shows this week (Jan. 28, 2024)

February is arriving this week, and Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows. The new additions include the final Magic Mike movie, an A24 Mia Goth horror movie, a rom-com, and an animated movie.

First up is Magic Mike's Last Dance. It's the final movie in the trilogy and stars Channing Tatum (of course), Salma Hayek, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Juliette Motamed, and Matt Bomer. The movie follows Mike as he makes his way to the stage again after losing everything. He heads to London and meets a wealthy socialite who proposes an offer he can't refuse. The movie hits Netflix on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024

X is also coming to Netflix on Thursday, Feb. 1. The horror-thriller stars Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow, Kid Cudi, Martin Henderson, and Stephen Ure. The film follows a couple of adult filmmakers who are trying to make a film in rural Texas. But when their hosts find out what they are doing, they end up fighting for their lives.

You can also check out Plus One this week! The rom-com is available to stream starting Friday, Feb. 2, and stars Jack Quaid, Maya Erskine, Beck Bennett, Jessy Hodges, John Lyke, and Ed Begley Jr. The movie follows two best friends, Ben and Alice, who decide to take each other to the many weddings they have to go to. What they don't expect is to discover that they might just be perfect for one another.

Orion and the Dark is also coming to Netflix this week. The animated film hits the streaming service on Friday, Feb. 2 and tells the story of a young boy who is afraid of heights, girls, and pets, but most of all, the dark. But when the dark turns out to be a creature, Orion discovers he has nothing to fear. It also doesn't hurt that "The Dark" takes him on a nighttime adventure that he will never forget and that will prove to him there is nothing to be afraid of but fear itself.

The cast consists of Jacob Tremblay, Paul Walter Hauser, Carla Gugino, Angela Bassett, Colin Hanks, Werner Herzok, Ike Barinholtz, Aparna Nancherlam and Natasia Demetriou.
