Netflix is adding 10 new movies and shows this week (Jan 21, 2024)

Netflix has been taking it slow at the beginning of 2024 and not putting out much huge content, but they are definitely ramping it up this week with new movies and shows. You can look forward to a South Korean horror movie, a crime drama miniseries, and a new season of a makeover show.

First up is Train to Busan. This isn't exactly new as it came out in 2016, but it's ridiculously good. The horror action movie follows a father and daughter as they try to make it to the only city safe for them. With a zombie outbreak going on, getting to the city is by no means easy. This train ride is going to get bloody. If you haven't seen this movie, now is the perfect time. It hits Netflix on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.

Netflix's biggest show this week is Griselda. It comes to the streaming service on Thursday, Jan. 25, and stars Sophia Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Juliana Aidén Martinez, and
Martín Rodríguez. The mini-series is based on a true story and follows Griselda Blanco as she creates one of the biggest and most ruthless drug cartels in history. She must figure out the balance between family and business, but her business isn't exactly what you would expect for most working moms.

Queer Eye is also back on Netflix this week! Season 8 arrives on Wednesday, Jan. 24, and will once again feature the Fab Five making over a whole new group of people. The six-episode season will be Bobby Berk's final one as he announced that he will no longer be appearing on the show.

There seems to be some drama going on behind the scenes, but for now, we have six new episodes with Bobby, Tan, Karamo, Jonathan, and Antoni making over people's lives in New Orleans.
