Netflix is adding 17 new movies and shows this week (March 11, 2024)

A new week is here and with it comes a few new movies and shows, including a new season of a teen romance series, a new season of show about a music group made up of all girls, and a new rom-com from Lindsay Lohan.

First up this week is season 3 of Young Royals! The new season hits Netflix on Monday, March 11, 2024 and follows Wilhelm and Simon as they struggle with new secrets, major decisions, and the most shocking revelation their school has ever faced. The show brings back Edvin Ryding and Omar Rudberg as Prince Wilhelm and Simon, respectively.

Are you a fan of Girls5Eva? Well, the new season is coming to Netflix this week on Thursday, March 14! It's one of the few shows Netflix has actually saved. The series stars Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, Paula Pell, and Renée Elise Goldsberry, who all play members of a one-hit-wonder band from the '90s who regain their fame when a young rapper samples one of their songs. This season, the girls start their Returnity Tour and are met with new friends and new enemies as they try to navigate fame in the modern world.

Irish Wish and Young Royals season 3 coming to Netflix this week

If you haven't watched season 1 and 2, they will be streaming on Netflix on Thursday as well.

Looking for a new rom-com? Lindsay Lohan has an Irish rom-com just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Irish Wish starts streaming on Netflix on Friday, March 15. It follows Maddie, who is going to the wedding of her best friend. She also happens to have feelings for her best friend's future husband. It's complicated.

But then she makes a wish on an ancient stone in Ireland, and her dream to marry her dream guy becomes a reality. But as we know... be careful what you wish for.

Besides Lohan, the movie also stars Ed Speelers, Alexander Vlahos, Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan, Jacinta Mulcahy, and Jane Seymour.
