This just in: Netflix will be launching a new competition series called Million Dollar Secret, and we're here to share everything there is to know about it.

The streaming giant has had its success with competition series in the past with shows like Is It Cake?, The Circle, Perfect Match, Blown Away, Floor Is Lava, etc. All of these shows have gone on for additional seasons. After reading up on Million Dollar Secret, we believe this upcoming Netflix show will be just as successful or more.

Produced by Wheelhouse UK and Spoke Studios and hosted by British comedian and actor Peter Serafinowicz, Million Dollar Secret season 1 will consist of eight 45-minute episodes. Charles Wachter takes on showrunner duties and executive produces alongside Glenn Hugill, Will Nothacker, Russ Friedman, Joe Coleman, and Pam Healey. Unfortunately, the cast has yet to be announced, but we'll definitely make sure to come back and share each new cast addition.

Now, here's how the thrilling game goes. There are 12 players in total. At the start of the first episode, one of the 12 players is awarded a million-dollar prize. Now, this is when things get interesting. The other players will hunt them down for the money. Once the millionaire is caught and booted from the game, the money moves to someone new, and that player becomes the new target. Over eight episodes, viewers watch as the players continue to hunt down and eliminate the millionaire for a chance to secure the cash prize for themselves. However, the millionaire does have the opportunity to get rid of the cash if they feel like they're catching too much heat. This will allow them to stay in the competition a little longer. Obviously, the last man standing is the winner.

Million Dollar Secret is a cutthroat game of strategy, and it's hard to know who you can really trust when a million-dollar cash prize is on the line. That's all we know about the competition series as of right now. As more information comes out about this show, such as the official release date, we'll make sure to return to this space to share everything we found. So, stay tuned to Netflix Life!
