Netflix is adding 7 new movies and shows this week (Jan 7, 2024)

A new week is here and Netflix is adding a few new movies and shows to their lineup. And make sure to put that emphasis on a few because they are only adding seven new things this week, including a very popular network series, a sports docu-series, and a new Netflix Original movie.

This Is Us is finally coming to Netflix. All six seasons of the tearjerker series are headed to Netflix on Sunday, Jan 7, 2024. The series was on NBC and starred Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, and Chris Sullivan. It followed a unique set of triplets and their parents as they go through the joy and heartbreak of life.

This week also brings season 2 of Break Point on Wednesday, Jan 10. The docu-series is back and once again following women's and men's pro tennis players as they make their way through four Grand Slam tournaments. Viewers get to travel alongside some of the best players in the world as they win and lose.

Finally, Lift is also headed to the streaming service this week. It comes to Netflix on Friday, Jan 12 and stars Kevin Hart, Sam Worthington, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Úrsula Corberó, Jean Reno, and Kim Yoon-ji. The movie follows an international heist crew that must team up with the feds to steal $100 million in gold bullion from a passenger plane. It is no easy task, but you'll have to watch to find out if they succeed,
