Nicholas Chavez and Cooper Koch star in the new series of the Ryan Murphy anthology series as Lyle and Erik Menendez respectively. Both handsome and talented actors aren't newcomers, having starred in a number of movies and television shows between them, but they will be new faces to many viewers digging into all nine episodes of the no-holds-barred thriller series.

Nicholas Alexander Chavez was born on Sept. 6, 1999, making the Lyle Menendez actor 25 years old as of September 2024 and a Virgo. Chavez was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Denver, Colorado. From posts on his Instagram, he appears to be dating Victoria Abbott.

Prior to Monsters, audiences were likely familiar with Chavez's work on General Hospital, on which he starred as Spencer Cassadine from 2021 to 2024. For his role on the soap opera, he won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2022 for Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series.

Chavez can also be seen in the Tubi original movie Crushed, which debuted in 2022. Following his role in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, Chavez continued working with Ryan Murphy and stars in a series regular role in the new horror series Grotesquerie as Father Charlie.

Cooper Koch as Erik Menendez

Cooper Koch was born on July 16, 1996, making the Erik Menendez actor 28 years old as of September 2024 and a Cancer. The actor was born in Calabasas, California and has a twin brother named Payton who also works in the entertainment industry. Koch is openly gay.

Before scoring the co-leading role in Monsters, Koch appeared in a number of queer-oriented horror films, including Peacock's They/Them (2022) and the body horror film Swallowed (2022), which is streaming on Shudder. He's also appeared in A New York Christmas Wedding (2020).

Koch, whose height is 6 feet 1 inch, graduated from the Pace School of Performing Arts in New York City with a BFA in acting. While he comes from a family of producers and other creatives in the industry, he's studied his craft and honed his talent. We can't wait to see what he does next!
