Love on the Spectrum US season 3 is on the way: Everything to know so far

Hip hip hooray! Netflix just announced that Love on the Spectrum US will be returning with a new season in the future. Yes, you read that right. The hit docu-reality series has been renewed for a third season, and we can't wait to see if any old cast members come back and which new ones will join.

Love on the Spectrum US is a spinoff of the original Australian series of the same name. It premiered its first season on Netflix back in May 2022 and saw much success. This prompted Netflix to renew the series for a second season four months later in September. However, the second season took a pretty long time to make its way to the streaming platform with it releasing in January 2024.

Nonetheless, it was another great season. It introduced viewers to three new singles on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships. Those new singles were Connor, Journey, and Tanner. We also saw the return of some season 1 cast members, such as Dani, Abbey, Steve, and James. We got an update on their love lives, with some cast members still looking for love while others were happily in relationships.

Due to the second season's major success —ranking in the Global Top 10 for three weeks—Netflix decided to give the green light for a third season. Northern Pictures is back as the production company behind the series, and Karina Holden and Cian O’Clery are back as executive producers.
