Love on the Spectrum US season 1 cast: Where are they now?

The first season of Love on the Spectrum US was released on Netflix back in May 2022, and tons of people tuned in to see if the American version was just as good as the Australian version. Well, the show was a hit with viewers and earned a season 2 renewal in September 2022. Now, the new season is set to land on Netflix on Jan. 19.

The first season introduced viewers to six people on the autism spectrum all looking for love. We met cast members such as Abbey, Kaelynn, Subodh, Dani, Steve, and James. Throughout the first season, we watched them as they explored the world of dating and relationships.

However, only two cast members actually ended the season in a relationship and that's Abbey and Subodh. But where is the Love on the Spectrum US season 1 cast now in 2024? Here's what we know.

Abbey

If you loved seeing Abbey and David's relationship play out in the first season, you'll be glad to know that they're still together in 2024. You can even catch them in the upcoming Love on the Spectrum US season 2, where viewers get an update on what they've been up to since season 1.

The best way to keep up with Abbey and David is by following their Instagram pages. They constantly keep their followers updated with what's going on in their lives. They also post cute pictures of each other often on their respective pages.

It looks like Abbey's main focus right now is music. She shared some behind-the-scenes videos of her shooting her first music video on Instagram. The music video is for her new song called "Categories," which she wrote with a person named Casey Kelly.

Dani

It's unclear if Dani has found the love of her life yet, but she looks to be enjoying life doing what she loves to do. On Jan. 9, she celebrated her 29th birthday, and then the next day she gave a keynote presentation at the Everyday Lives Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania. During her presentation, she spoke about her life and how she assists other people on the autism spectrum in securing jobs. She also attended the CARD 31st Statewide conference in Orlando, Florida, where she was one of the featured speakers.

Subodh

Subodh ended the first season coupled up with Rachel Osterbach. However, in October 2022, they decided to end their relationship and remain friends. As of January 2024, it looks like Subodh is in a relationship with a woman named Katina. It's unclear how long they've been together, but they've already met each other's families. So, I would say it's pretty serious. They even spent New Year's Eve together. While Subodh doesn't post Katina as much on his Instagram page, Katina's page is full of pictures of them together. We wish them all the love and hope they work out!

James

James's current love life is unknown at the moment, but we're looking forward to finding out more when Love on the Spectrum US season 2 drops. When it comes to James's life, everything seems to be going well for him. He posts often on his Instagram page, so you should definitely follow him. Most of his posts are of him discussing a topic. He even asks for his followers' opinions on a topic in the captions.

Kaelynn

It doesn't look like Kaelynn is in a relationship at the moment, but we could be wrong. We've looked all over her social media accounts for any clues as to who she could be dating but came up empty. If you recall from the season 1 finale, Kaelynn and Peter were getting along great and had even planned a second date. But unfortunately, it was revealed in the last moments of the first season that Peter had canceled on her, and they hadn't met up again.

When it comes to Kaelynn's life, she describes herself as an Autistic Therapist and Advocate. If you scroll through her Instagram page, you'll find many videos of her talking about what it means to be autistic. Steve

Unfortunately, Steve doesn't have any social media accounts so we don't know what he's been up to in 2024. At the end of season 1, it was revealed that he was still on the search for love. Based on the Love on the Spectrum US season 2 trailer, it looks like we'll see Steve on at least one date. Let's hope that this time he actually has a romantic connection.
