Lift is the most recent of all of Hart’s Netflix movies and shows. The movie was originally scheduled to premiere in August 2023, but Netflix held the movie until January. The movie is one of the first big Netflix movies of the year. Overall, though, the movie didn’t get great reviews from critics or viewers.

The film tells the story of a team that works together to pull off an impossible heist at 40,000 feet. Yep, they’re stealing millions of dollars from a plane while it’s in flight. Hart stars as Cyrus, the leader and organizer of the heist.

I actually liked a lot of elements of this movie. I’m a huge fan of heist movies. I love Netflix’s heist shows, including Money Heist, Berlin, and Lupin. Over the years, Netflix has released quite a few good heist movies, too, and Lift is on that list.

If you missed Lift when it was released on Netflix in mid-January, we highly recommend checking out the movie on Netflix now. Up next is The Man from Toronto starring Hart and Woody Harrelson.
