All 5 of Kevin Hart's Netflix movies and shows ranked from worst to best
By Bryce Olin
With the release of the action-heist movie, Lift, in January 2024, there are now five Netflix movies and shows starring Kevin Hart with even more projects in the works. To help Netflix viewers pick which of Hart's Netflix movies and shows to watch, we ranked all five titles from best to worst.
For this ranking, we focused on Hart's Netflix original movies and shows only. There are other movies, shows, and specials from and starring Hart on Netflix, including Think Like A Man Too, Death at a Funeral, and several of Hart's Netflix stand-up specials.
Let’s get the list started with the worst of Kevin Hart’s Netflix movies and shows, Me Time.
5. Me Time
- Release Date: Aug. 26, 2022
- Directed by: John Hamburg
- Cast: Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, Regina Hall, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Jimmy O. Yang, and more
Me Time premiered on Netflix in the summer of 2022. Unfortunately, it’s the worst of Hart’s Netflix movies so far. It's not that Me Time is bad, necessarily. It's just a lot of silly bits. If you're a fan of those kinds of comedies, you'll probably like this movie, though.
The film tells the story of Sonny, played by Kevin Hart, a husband and father who is usually very busy with his work, home, and fatherly responsibilities. When he finds some “me time,” while his family is away, Sonny reunites with an old friend, Huck, played by Mark Wahlberg, and gets into some serious trouble.
I’m not a huge fan of Hart’s silly comedies like Me Time. Obviously, they have a place in the world, but I’m not interested in spending my me time watching them. Of the movies on this list, Me Time is probably a skip!
