The full trailer for Heartstopper season 3 has finally arrived! Ahead of the release of the highly anticipated third season of Netflix's hit teen romantic comedy-drama series on Oct. 3, the streamer dropped the official two-minute tease of the season, and it will have you in your feelings for multiple reasons. The kids are going through it this season, and oh! — there's Jonathan Bailey, too!

Heartstopper season 3's trailer opens with the long awaited beach scene, with Charlie (Joe Locke) listening to music and looking distracted. Nick (Kit Connor) arrives by his side with an encouraging smile. Everything's beginning to feel real for Charlie and Nick and their friends as the pressures of university continue to draw nearer and threaten to change their relationships.

This season, Charlie's struggles with his mental health and eating disorder will take center stage as Nick worries about his boyfriend and leans on his Aunt Diane (guest star Hayley Atwell) for ways to help. "Sometimes, people need more support than one person can give," she assures him, as we know that Nick tends to take on a bit more than he should.

Watch the official trailer in the video below!

Of course, Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey nearly steals the show in the final clip of the trailer as Charlie and Nick meet Jack Maddox, Charlie's celebrity crush, at one of his book signings. While meeting Jack, Nick appears to be flustered and at a loss for words, until they walk away and he says to Charlie, "Yeah, he's really hot." If that's not the most relatable part of Heartstopper ever!

Kidding, obviously, since Heartstopper's genuinely relatable and a truly important show for young people — and older people, too. But Bailey's cameo in the trailer (and in the series, since his role won't be much larger than what we've already seen) is the bit of levity we're surely going to need in a season that's going to pack quite the punch.

Elsewhere in the trailer, the season also tackles sex as Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) decide to get intimate, but taking their relationship to the next level seems to bring up some internal issues for Elle. As written about in Heartstopper Volume 5, Charlie also considers having sex with Nick, and their sex education class in school gets awkward with cucumbers and condoms.

Connor recently opened up about Heartstopper moving into more mature territory with Charlie and Nick exploring the sexual side of their relationship. "We shot a lot of footage for them," he told The Sunday Times. "Not much actually ended up in the show. But we shot the sex scenes for about seven hours!" Locke also told Variety that "the second half of the season is about sex."

Finney spoke on a recent episode of Heartstopper: The Official Podcast about the season's foray into sex and how that impacts Elle. While assuring fans that the series will maintain its PG rating, even with Connor and Locke's teases about sex, Finney shared about the importance of showcasing a young trans girl experiencing sex for the first time and how she hoped to "educate" the audience.

Now with the trailer out in the world, all of us fans couldn't be more excited to watch the next chapter of the most lovable show on streaming and perhaps all of television. There's not much longer left to wait, so reread the books, watch the trailer again, and emotionally prepare for all eight new episodes!

Heartstopper season 3 begins streaming on Oct. 3 on Netflix.
