Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Netflix? (Where to watch)

The Percy Jackson movies didn’t quite do the book series justice. Of course, fans are a little concerned about the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians because of that.

The series has officially premiered. This first story is going to follow The Lightning Thief for the most part. A 12-year-old Percy learns that he is a demigod and needs to get used to his powers. However, when Zeus’s lightning bolt goes missing, Percy is the one who is blamed for it.

Who actually took it? Well, whoever it was wants to destroy Olympus. Now it’s up to Percy and his friends to get the lightning bolt back and save the day—while proving his innocence, of course.

Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Netflix?

Unfortunately, we have some bad news when it comes to this Percy Jackson series. It is not going to stream on Netflix. As a Disney+ Original Series, it probably won’t come to Netflix at all.

Where to stream the Percy Jackson series?

The fact that it is a Disney+ Original Series likely gives away where you can go to stream the show. It is available on Disney+. You’ll also be able to stream it on Hulu, which isn’t common for Disney+ shows despite the two streamers being owned by the same company. This likely comes with the migration for Disney+ and Hulu.

Will you be able to watch on Digital? That’s probably not going to happen. However, the series could follow the likes of Loki and WandaVision and eventually come to DVD and Blu-ray.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast

Walker Scobell takes on the role of the titular character. This role was played by Logan Lerman in the movie adaptations. He will be joined by Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, who was played by Alexandra Daddario in the movie. Charles Bushnell will take on Jake Abel’s role of Luke Castellan and Aryan Simhadri is Grover Underwood, played by Brandon T. Jackson in the movies.

The late Lance Reddick will play Zeus. It marks his final TV appearance.
