Here's how you can watch The Good Wife spinoff series Elsbeth

Carrie Preston returns as the fan-favorite character Elsbeth Tascioni from The Good Wife and its spinoff series The Good Fight. Now a new self-titled spinoff, Elsbeth, sees Preston take on the leading role! Unfortunately for Netflix viewers, you won't be able to watch the series on the streaming service.

Elsbeth will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+

To watch Elsbeth as soon as it airs you will need access to the CBS channel, meaning you'll either need a traditional cable package or a digital television provider like FuboTV. Otherwise, the best way to watch Elsbeth will be to wait until the episodes premiere on the streaming service Paramount+ the day after they air on CBS.

Elsbeth premieres with its first episode on February 29, 2024 at 10:00 p.m. ET with new episodes airing weekly on Thursday nights. After the premiere episode, Elsbeth will take a week off before returning with new episodes on March 14, 2024.

Episodes debut on Paramount+ the following day, meaning you can stream the series premiere on March 1, 2024. Elsbeth is scheduled to air through May 2024, with ten episodes in the first season.

Robert and Michelle King are back for their latest entry into The Good Wife universe and Preston returns to play Elsbeth Tascioni, an astute and autistic attorney who uses her unique perspective to capture criminals alongside the NYPD.

Besides Preston, the series also stars Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson. The first season will feature guest stars like Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Krakowski, Retta, Blair Underwood, and Linda Lavin.

Given the Kings' track record for making excellent television (The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Evil, etc.), it's not surprising that Elsbeth is already earning critical acclaim. The series has a high overall Rotten Tomatoes approval score of 92% right now, based on 12 reviews.

Both of Elsbeth parent shows went on for multiple seasons, so we're hopeful that Elsbeth will see similar success and maybe even earn star Carrie Preston another Emmy. She already received one in 2013 for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series on The Good Wife.
