Full list of Korean dramas and movies coming to Netflix in 2024

It's a brand new year, and we've already seen the release of tons of new and returning Netflix shows. There have been many entertaining movies released as well. Additionally, the streamer has even bumped up its international content this year. Now, Netflix has released a long list of Korean dramas and movies coming out in 2024.

Some of these Korean dramas you're probably familiar with because they were such big shows when they came out. We're talking Physical 100, Sweet Home, Gyeongseong Creature, Hellbound, Squid Game etc. All of these shows will be returning with new seasons in 2024.

When it comes to the movie front, we're looking at new Korean films like My Name is Loh Kiwan, Officer Black Belt, The Great Flood and so much more.

What Korean dramas are coming to Netflix in 2024?

Squid Game is the most highly anticipated Korean show on this list. After a more than 2 year wait, we'll finally get to see the return of the popular thriller series. Although an official release date hasn't been announced yet, we know for certain that the second season will be released sometime in 2024.

This season, we see Gi-hun "as he abandons his plans to go to the U.S. and starts a chase with a motive." You can expect to see Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo return in their roles as well as new cast members joining like Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-guen, Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, and Won Ji.

What Korean movies are coming to Netflix in 2024?

Pictured above is the upcoming romantic drama film My Name is Loh Kiwan, which is slated to come out in March. It follows a man who abandons North Korea to move to Belgium, but once he arrives, he finds it difficult to obtain refugee status. Then, he meets Marie, a low in spirits woman who has lost her reason to live. Although their first encounter doesn't go smoothly, they eventually find themselves falling in love with each other. Song Joong-ki stars as Loh Kiwan, the North Korean man seeking refugee status in Belgium while South Korean actress Choi Sung-eun plays Marie, the dejected woman who has lost all hope.

Korean variety shows coming to Netflix in 2024

Get ready because Zombieverse season 2 is slated to come to Netflix later this year! In the new season, we'll see a bunch of new contestants attempt to do everything they can to survive a simulated zombie outbreak. Netflix promises that the new quests that the contestants will have to participate in will be "as colorful and creative as ever." The streamer has also said that the zombies will receive "an upgrade in stats," which will ultimately make it harder for the contestants to survive.
