The Fiona Harvey saga continues.

Soon after the dark dramedy Baby Reindeer premiered on Netflix, a true story following a budding comedian who begins being stalked by a woman he meets at the bar where he works, viewers began launching investigations into who the characters are based on. Creator and star Richard Gadd tells his unflinching story of a woman who sent him over 40,000 emails (and a long list of other messages) all while he tried to process the trauma of being sexually abused.

But while Gadd was targeted by this woman, who is named Martha in the show, he's still very much against viewers trying to figure out her true identity. Previously calling his stalker a victim in her own right, Gadd has taken to social media to urge people against looking into who she is in real life. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped the internet from doing what it wants, and this publicity around the show has only grown since a woman came out claiming she is the real-life Martha.

This woman, named Fiona Harvey, appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored on May 9 to tell her side of the story, denying that she ever stalked Gadd. Instead, she alleges that Gadd was the one "obsessed" with her, calling him "psychotic" and "the ultimate misogynist." She told Morgan that she's planning on suing both Gadd and Netflix, and in a new interview she speaks on how much she was offered to appear on the talk show.

Fiona Harvey wants £1 million from Piers Morgan interview, another million from Netflix

As reported by Forbes, Harvey spoke with Daily Record, where she discussed the Piers Morgan interview and her planned lawsuit. Apparently, Harvey was offered far less than what she was expecting, and she's seeking much, much more. "They offered me £250 and I asked if that was what they paid everyone and, if so, I wanted to see documentation to that effect," she tells the publication. "That documentation has not been forthcoming. I have not signed a contract for the interview and I will be seeking far more than a piddling £250."

How much does Harvey expect to be paid for the interview? "I’d settle for a million," she says. In dollars, that would be $1,086,745.00.

As for the lawsuit she's looking to pursue, Harvey is looking for another million from that venture. "If I can’t get that show to shut down easily, if they don’t give me the money — and I’m talking £1million — politicians will shut the show down," Harvey promises. "If the [behavior] of Netflix has been discussed in Parliament as it has been discussed all over the country then the show will be shut down — as simple as that."

“I want at least £1million and they know it," Harvey states.

Gadd has not weighed in on Harvey's public statements, and I'm sure that's intentional. Prior to the Piers Morgan Uncensored interview, the writer/actor spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and said that he didn't think he would "ever comment on it ever again" after seeing how much digging fans of the show have done. "If I wanted the real life people to be found, I would’ve made it a documentary," he said.

Who would've thought the seven-episode limited series would lead to this? If you haven't seen it already, Baby Reindeer is available to stream on Netflix.
