Set to release this summer, Find Me Falling is sure to be one of the best romance films that you watch all year, especially because the story this title tells is one we can all relate to here and there. What's more, the 2024 film stars Harry Connick Jr, a familiar face in both the acting and music industry, so if you're a fan of the Grammy Award-winning musician, this is the title for you.

What is Find Me Falling about?

In the upcoming Netflix film, Harry Connick Jr. stars as our protagonist, John Allman.

Allman is down on his luck after his most recent attempt at dipping his feet back into the music industry flopped. He decides to take a break from music and heads to Cyprus, a beautiful place that is home to wonderful sights and the relaxing atmosphere Allman so desperately needs. However, Cyprus is also home to various people who come into Allman's life, one of which includes a special someone Allman has a complicated past with.

Stelana Kliris, writer and director behind Find Me Falling, tells TUDUM about the thought process behind cultivating this film and what audiences can expect.

"This is a love story about many kinds of love: romantic, family, lifelong dreams, and what you’re willing to sacrifice for the people or the things you love. John essentially has to decide whether the love of his life is his music or the woman he left behind."

Harry Connick Jr. isn't the only familiar face you'll see in this Netflix release, as the film also stars Tony Demetriou, Aggeliki Filippidou, Lea Maleni, Athina Roditou, Agni Scott, and Clarence Smith.

The roles Smith and the rest of these talented actors will be revealed soon. Even so, just know that Kliris took her time to hand-pick every cast member to ensure the audience connects with who they see on the screen.

"You can have all the bells, whistles and gags that you want, but without real substance, you can’t connect with your star-crossed lovers," Kliris expressed. "You also need characters — and the actors who play them — that people will fall in love with. Find Me Falling certainly has both."
