In Am I OK?, Johnson stars as 32-year-old Lucy, who comes to a realization about her sexuality when she notices the pattern that none of her dates with men pan out into relationships. She turns to her best friend Jane to help navigate this new territory and self discovery she's experiencing in her 30s, but like all things, it will be more complicated than she expects.

Take a look at the official synopsis for the movie via Max:

"Lucy and Jane have been best friends for most of their lives and think they know everything there is to know about each other. But when Jane announces she’s moving to London, Lucy reveals a long-held secret. As Jane tries to help Lucy, their friendship is thrown into chaos."

The movie comes from co-directors Stephanie Allynne and Tig Notaro, the latter comedian having released two stand-up comedy specials on Netflix, and producer Will Ferrell. Johnson produced the movie, too. Oddly enough, Am I OK? was actually filmed before Madame Web and made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2022, where Warner Bros. purchased the rights. Ahead of it's wide streaming release, the film holds a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
