Cameron family reunion! Madelyn Cline and Drew Starkey reunite with their Outer Banks dad

Where are all the Outer Banks fans? We have good news to share about some of the show's main cast members. Recently, OBX stars Madelyn Cline (Sarah) and Drew Starkey (Rafe) met up with their on-screen dad, Charles Esten (Ward), and it was somewhat of an Outer Banks reunion. But don't go thinking that this means Esten will be returning in the upcoming fourth season. Ward might've faked his death before, but he's really dead this time. If he does appear in Outer Banks season 4, it'll likely be in flashbacks.

So, when did this OBX reunion happen, you ask? Well, it happened on Saturday, April 6, 2024, but fans didn't learn about it until April 7, when Esten shared a sweet post on his Instagram about Cline and Starkey coming to visit him at one of his shows. Yes, Esten is more than just a talented actor. He's a musician as well. He's currently on tour, and the tour is named after his debut album Love Ain't Pretty.

On April 6, he performed at the premier live music beach venue, The Windjammer, in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. This was the sixth stop on his "Love Aint Pretty U.S. Tour" and his fourth time performing at The Windjammer. Cline and Starkey surprised Esten by attending the Saturday show, and Esten was very appreciative of their support.

According to the post, Cline and Starkey also sang a song with him on stage. Based on the photos above, it looked like they had a ball. It would've been a complete Cameron family reunion if Caroline Arapoglou (Rose) and Julia Antonelli (Wheezie) had attended the show. Esten made sure to include them in his Instagram post, though. Maybe they'll attend an upcoming show of his. He just recently started the tour, so he still has many more tour stops remaining.
