Premise: The Undoing is based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. It was released in 2014. The series tells the story of Grace Fraser, played by Kidman, and her relationship with a woman, Elena, played by Matilda De Angelis, who turns up dead a night after a school fundraiser where Grace had seen Elena. Troubled by her murder, Grace tries to get to the bottom of the case, especially when it starts to get a little closer to home with her husband, Jonathan, played by Hugh Grant.

Why you should watch: The Undoing is one of the best mystery shows of the last decade. It was a huge success on HBO back in 2020. The characters are interesting, and the performances are outstanding. The story is unhinged and completely ridiculous, which is exactly what fans of Coben's Netflix shows appreciate. I don't mean that in a bad way, either! This show will keep you on your toes and keep you guessing, which is something that's also very true about Coben's Netflix shows.

Grant and Kidman put on a show in this one. It's the supporting players who play the most important roles in this series, though.

Up next is Inside Man!
