Sweet Home

Sweet Home is easily one of the best Korean shows on Netflix. From the unique plot to the amazingly talented cast to the excellent visually appealing cinematography, Sweet Home will have you hooked by the first episode. Also, each episode ends on a shocking cliffhanger that'll keep you coming back for more.

The show is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan. The first season was released in December 2020 and followed 19-year-old Cha Hyun-soo, who decides to move into the rundown Green Home Apartments after his entire family dies tragically in a car accident. But soon after his arrival, weird occurrences begin to happen, such as humans turning into savage monsters. Now, he must band together with his fellow neighbors and fight to survive.

After a long wait, Sweet Home season 2 finally dropped in December 2023. This season, the Green Home survivors still fight to survive against monsters and their own desires, but just in new places. Elsewhere, Cha Hyun-soo and Ui-myeong in Sang-wook’s body make their way to the Bamseom Headquarters, where experiments are being done on infectees.

Luckily, a Sweet Home season 3 has already been confirmed and filmed, so we don't have to worry about the show being renewed. However, you might want to get started on the show soon if you haven't already because the upcoming third season is slated for a summer 2024 release.
