It's a daunting task for a show to live up to its first season, especially when that first season is a breakout hit. The Lincoln Lawyer surprised everyone when it debuted in 2022 and became a sleeper hit for Netflix. A second season was quickly ordered and arrived in two parts this year with yet another incredible season that reminded us why we fell in love with the show.

Inspired by the fourth book in Michael Connelly's The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Fifth Witness, the second season of Netflix's hit legal drama found Mickey Haller taking on yet another high-profile murder case. This time, Mickey is called upon to represent local chef Lisa Trammel (played to perfection by Lana Parrilla) when she's accused of murdering local developer Mitchell Bondurant -- a man threatening to destroy the community in which she's built her life.

The chemistry between Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Parrilla was absolutely off the charts, and the writers managed to craft a perfectly timed story that left us guessing all season long right up until the final episode of the season. Season 2 more than lived up to the hype and left us eager to see where the story will go next with the show's third season!
