Fans had to wait a long time for You season 4, but I think it’s safe to say that it was well worth the wait for the new season. You season 4 premiered on Netflix on Feb. 9. Netflix split the season into two parts for the first time, and the results were positive for the streamer. It ranks No. 6 on the list of the most popular Netflix shows between January and June of this year.

Although the split season was great for viewership numbers, it seemed to have a negative effect on the show’s quality. It would have been much better if Netflix had dropped all the episodes at one time. I mean, I’m not really complaining. I still watched the whole season and loved it. There’s no doubt it’s one of the top shows of the year.

In the fourth season, Joe Goldberg is back up to his old patterns and routines but this time, he’s in London and he’s Professor Jonathan Moore. Jonathan falls in a with a friend group of wealthy socialites who become the target of a serial killer, the Eat the Rich killer. Jonathan tries to put the pieces of the mystery together while also becoming infatuated and obsessed with a new woman: Kate.

Penn Badgley returns for season 4, along with a mostly new cast, including Tati Gabrielle, Charlotte Ritchie, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Ed Speleers, and Lukas Gage.

You season 5 is officially in the works, and it’s going to be the final season of the Netflix series.
