Triple Frontier is one of the first Netflix original heist movies. It marks a notable investment from Netflix into the action movie space, and with a cast like Triple Frontier has, it must have been quite the investment!

Triple Frontier leans a little harder into the military aspect of heist movies. This is not a movie about a team pulling off an art heist or robbing a bank. No, this is the story of a team of special ops members who retired from the US military and they reunite to take down and rob the leader of a criminal organization. It's a very action-heavy movie, especially compared to some of the other heist movies on the list.

Overall, Triple Frontier is not one of the best Netflix movies of all time. There's a lot left to be desired in terms of character development, but as a heist movie with high stakes, Triple Frontier does work well. It's definitely worth checking out if you haven't seen it simply for its cast, action sequences, and heist elements.
