Money Heist is the heist show that started it all for Netflix. The Spanish series premiered in Spain in May 2017, after it was quite successful, Netflix picked up the series as a Netflix original series and produced more episodes of the hit show.

Also known as La Casa de Papel, Money Heist tells the story of a mysterious man, called The Professor (Álvaro Morte), who puts a team of criminals together to pull off the biggest heist in the history of Spain. They're robbing the Spanish Royal Mint of billions!

There are five seasons (or parts) of Money Heist to stream on Netflix right now. The series came to an end in 2021, but if you were there for it, you remember because it was a moment.
