Art of Love cast: Get to know the cast of the Turkish Netflix movie

Netflix recently dropped a new romance film titled Art of Love, and many people are streaming it. In fact, it's one of the top movies on Netflix as of March 15. Art of Love is a Turkish Netflix original movie helmed by Recai Karagöz from a screenplay that was written by Pelin Karamehmetoğlu. Recai is best known for directing the Turkish rom-com Love Tactics 2. He was also a director on the crime drama series My Name Is Farah. Pelin also worked on Love Tactics 2 and wrote the script. In addition, she wrote the script for Love Tactics as well.

Art of Love follows Alin, an officer working in Interpol's Art Crime Unit. For several years, Alin has been chasing after an art thief who has been stealing valuable paintings, but she hasn't been able to track them down. That's until one day when she finally figures out where the thief is headed next. But to her surprise, the thief ends up being her ex-lover who disappeared on her right when they were about to get hitched. Now, she's determined to catch him red-handed. But things get complicated when unresolved romantic feelings begin resurfacing,

Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç portrays the leading role of policeman Alin. She's best known for her previous role as Halime Hatun in the historical adventure series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. She also starred as Sibel Yıldırım in the crime drama series Ramo. When it comes to movies, you might recognize her from her role as Cemre in the action flick Adanis: Kutsal Kavga and her voice role as Nana in the animated film Dolphin Boy. Turkish actor Birkan Sokullu plays the role of art thief and billionaire businessman, Güney. Some of the other work that you might recognize him from were his roles in the TV shows Life Song, Immortals, Rise of Empires: Ottoman and The Innocents.
