All of the Indian Netflix movies and shows coming in 2024

We have good news to report, Netflix Lifers! Netflix has just released a complete list of all the Indian titles confirmed to be coming to the streamer this year. You can expect to see the release of many new Indian shows and movies on Netflix, as well as see the return of some beloved Indian series.

Since the start of 2024, Netflix has been unveiling different lists for all its international content. So far, we have full lists for all the Korean content, Spanish content, Japanese content, and now Indian content for 2024.

Indian Netflix movies coming out in 2024

Murder Mubarak is set to be released on Netflix on March 15, 2024. It's based on the 2021 book Club You to Death by Anuja Chauhan and centers around the murder investigation of a hunky personal trainer. When a gym trainer is found dead at a posh recreational club, a non-traditional cop is appointed to investigate the case and is tasked with finding the cold-blooded murderer. But as he delves deeper into the case, many secrets and lies begin coming to the surface, and everyone becomes a suspect.

Pankaj Tripathi leads the cast as the non-traditional cop. Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhail Nayyar join Tripathi in the cast.

Amar Singh Chamkila has a release date set for April 12, 2024. It tells the untold true story of the late Indian singer and musician of Punjabi music, Amar Singh Chamkila, aka the "Elvis Presley of Punjab." The film explores his beginnings and how he rose from poverty to become Punjab’s highest record-selling artist at the time to his tragic murder in 1988 at the young age of 27 years old.

Well-known Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh stars as Amar Singh Chamkila in the film. Joining him in the cast is actress Parineeti Chopra, playing the role of Amarjot, Chamkila’s wife and singing partner.

Indian Netflix shows coming out in 2024

Maamla Legal Hai will be landing on Netflix on March 1, 2024. It's a courtroom comedy series set in the fictional Patparganj District Court. It follows a group of quirky lawyers as they take on and solve some bizarre cases, including a case where a parrot is put on trial due to its foul language.

Ravi Kishan (VD Tyagi), Naila Grrewal (Ananya Shroff), Nidhi Bisht (Sujata Negi), and Anant V Joshi (Vishwas Pandey) all star in the new series for Netflix.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is an upcoming romantic period drama series created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Unfortunately, we don't have an official release date just yet, but we'll make sure to share it once it's announced.

Here's what the show is about via Netflix:

"In the midst of a power struggle in Heeramandi, a young heir caught in the crossfire chooses love over succession, disrupting the status quo. Set in pre-independent India against a burgeoning freedom movement, the final thread holding the art of tawaifs (courtesans) is put to the test. "

You can expect to see gifted actors such as Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chaddha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal take on roles in this new series.
