3. Through My Window 2: Across the Sea

Look, I wouldn't say Through My Window 2: Across the Sea was just horrible, but compared to the other movies in the trilogy, it was the worst one. While there were many steamy sex scenes, there still weren't enough happy moments between Raquel and Ares in my opinion. It was hard watching them struggle to keep their relationship in a good place. They were struggling to make a long-distance relationship work, and new people entering their lives didn't help. They don't even end up together at the end of the film.

But besides Raquel and Ares, what really made me rank this movie as the worst one in the trilogy is the fact that a beloved character is killed off in the most tragic way. I'm still not over Yoshi's death, and I don't think killing him off was necessary. The waterworks really hit me at the very end of the film when Raquel finds out that Yoshi sent her manuscript to the publisher without her knowing. He was such a good friend and deserved so much more.

2. Through My Window 3: Looking at You

Let me start off by saying that I was really looking forward to watching this movie. I mean, I stayed up late and waited for it to drop on Netflix. It was that serious! And I'm happy to say I enjoyed every last second of it. From the Christmas-themed setting to finding out that Artemis and Claudia were expecting then to seeing all the tension between Raquel and Ares, my eyes were glued to the TV screen throughout the entire film.

Raquel and Ares might not start off the movie as a couple, but their strong attraction to each other kept pulling them back, and eventually, they ended up back in each other's beds. Although cheating is never right, Raquel's new boyfriend Gregory should've known she wasn't over Ares. Everything might've been going well between them, but Ares is Raquel's soulmate. Once he came back into her life, it was pretty much over between her and Gregory. She was checked out of the relationship, and all she could think about was Ares.

The same goes for Ares and his relationship with Vera. Since he and Raquel couldn't be together, he went and got with Vera even though he still loved her. That's why he was a goner as soon as he came back home to Barcelona and laid eyes on Raquel. They were bound to get back together.

I loved seeing Raquel and Ares end up together in the end, as well as seeing them still happily in love five years later. Also, I enjoyed watching how all the other characters' stories wrapped up. Overall, it was a great movie, and I will one day come back and re-watch it.

1. Through My Window

I had to put the movie that started it all in the No. 1 spot, and it all started with a Wi-Fi password. Through My Window introduced viewers to Raquel and Ares. We got to see the beginnings of their relationship and how they even got together. There might've been a lot of tension between them in the third film, but the tension was at an all-time high in the first.

While Raquel liked Ares right off the bat, Ares initially only saw her as a romantic fling. So, there was a lot of back and forth between them. But as they grew closer and closer, Ares began to see Raquel as something more. His feelings for her scared him at first because he was taught by his father that love is a weakness. But he couldn't stop his growing feelings for her, and eventually, he decided to do what he wanted and go after her. Although Ares had to go to Stockholm for medical school at the end of the film, he made sure to return to Barcelona to visit his now girlfriend, Raquel. It was super sweet!
