A Gentleman in Moscow is a new British historical drama series that's currently streaming. Unfortunately, Netflix isn't the show's chosen streaming home. Instead, it's streaming on Paramount+. As of March 29, only the first episode is available to stream with a new episode being released every Friday until the season finale.

It's important to mention that the show is only available to people who have the Paramount+ with Showtime subscription plan. So, you won't be able to watch it if you have the Paramount+ Essential plan. You'll have to upgrade your plan in order to be able to watch A Gentleman in Moscow. The Paramount+ with Showtime subscription can be purchased as a monthly or yearly plan. If you choose the monthly plan, you're looking at paying $11.99/month before taxes. What is A Gentleman in Moscow about?

A Gentleman in Moscow is a limited series based on Amor Towles's 2016 international bestselling novel of the same name. The story is set in 1920s Russia and follows Count Alexander Rostov, who, after returning from Paris, finds out that he's been stripped of his title and wealth and is to be imprisoned for life in a grand Moscow hotel. While placed under house arrest, the Bolshevik Revolution unfolds outside the hotel’s doors.

Emmy Award-winning actor Ewan McGregor stars in the leading role of aristocrat Count Alexander Ilych Rostov. He's best known for starring as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries. He also played the role of Christian in the romantic drama film Moulin Rouge! and Ray and Emmit Stussy in the crime drama series Fargo. Some of his other acting work includes roles in the movies Black Hawk Down, Big Fish, Angels and Demons, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, The Ghost Writer, Christopher Robin, Doctor Sleep and Birds of Prey.

Talented actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Anna Urbanova, an actress that Alexander meets while imprisoned in the Metropol Hotel. You probably recognize Winstead from her role as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. She also starred as Jessica Bennett in the soap opera Passions. Some of her other acting work includes roles in the horror flicks Final Destination 3, Death Proof and Black Christmas, and in the superhero film Birds of Prey.
