4 best Netflix shows to watch (and 2 to skip) in March 2024
By Reed Gaudens
As the season turns to spring, everyone's likely looking to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather. But don't completely count out your cozy days and nights on the couch binge-watching the latest Netflix shows.
The streaming service has another full slate of new original programming heading our way in March 2024, and it's one of the most jam-packed months of new releases this year so far. March boasts a handful of brand-new shows making their premieres and sprinkling of returning titles.
Wondering if you should check out Girls5eva on Netflix? Have you thought about skipping 3 Body Problem when it premieres? Here's our take on what Netflix shows you should consider watching and which ones you should consider skipping in March 2024.
The Gentlemen
Watch! Based on Guy Ritchie's movie of the same name, The Gentlemen could be Netflix's next big hit crime drama series with a bit of action. The spinoff series centers on Eddie Halstead, played by Emmy Award-nominated The White Lotus star Theo James, as he inherits land from his father and later discovers it's part of a weed-growing empire. The sleek and slick action series will without a doubt be one of the month's top titles when it makes its premiere on March 7.
Full Swing season 2
Skip! If you're not a golf fan, then you likely don't have the second season of the golf documentary series Full Swing on your radar. Therefore, non-golf fans should probably skip the new season when it drops on March 6. However, those who keep up with the sport will be tuning into every episode for the behind the scenes drama of some of the biggest names in golf as they compete in the top championships on the PGA Tour.
Young Royals season 3
Watch! It's so hard to say goodbye, but fans of the Young Royals will be doing just that in March 2024. The beloved Swedish teen drama series returns with its third and final season on March 11, which marks the release of the first five episodes of the season. One week later, on March 18, the series finale releases along with the retrospective documentary Young Royals Forever. It's a must-watch two-week event for fans, and there's sure to be some tears shed!
Girls5eva
Watch! They're gonna be famous 5eva, and now they're coming to Netflix! The former Peacock original comedy series Girls5eva makes Netflix its new home on March 14 when all three seasons make their hilarious landing. The first two seasons, which will remain on Peacock, arrive in tandem with the Netflix-exclusive third season. All in all, there are 22 total episodes to binge-watch, and if you haven't yet watched the series from Tina Fey, what are you waiting for?!
Supersex
Skip! Although a lot of Netflix watchers have been raising the popularity of sexy movies and shows in the past few years, Supersex might not be exactly in the same vein as hit titles like Sex/Life and Burning Betrayal. The Italian drama series tells the story of Italian porn actor Rocco Siffredi, who's played in the series by Alessandro Borghi. Considering its over 40 "boundary-pushing" sex scenes, this particular limited series isn't for the faint of heart.
3 Body Problem
Watch! Based on the novel of the same name by Liu Cixin, 3 Body Problem comes from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss as well as Alexander Woo. The high-concept science-fiction series might be one of the most anticipated new Netflix shows of the year purely based on its attachment to the Game of Thrones creators. But the series also features an excellent ensemble cast and an intriguing premise that's more than worth checking out when it premieres on March 21.
