If you're hoping to get your money's worth out of your Netflix subscription this weekend you're in luck, because there are quite a few new releases on the streaming service.

For starters, the highly-anticipated sci-fi epic 3 Body Problem has just landed and so has the second season of occu-soap Buying Beverly Hills, which will feature some fresh details on the split between Mauricio Umansky and Real Housewives star Kyle Richards.

The series primarily follows along with the first book in the series, beginning with a lauded astrophysicist student who faces serious trauma in her life that leads her to make a fateful decision with devastating consequences for all of humankind.

Coming from D.B. Weiss, David Benioff, and Alexander Woo, viewers can anticipate an ambitious story with incredible scope, albeit this time firmly in the science fiction genre vs. the fantasy of Game of Thrones.

Academy Award-winning actress Regina King stars as trailblazer Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman elected to Congress who later ran a groundbreaking campaign as she lobbied for the chance to become the 1972 Democratic presidential nominee.

Virtually everyone doubted her at the time, but Shirley was dedicated to making a difference and paving the way for future Black leaders of America. Shirley comes from writer and director John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) and features one of the final performances of the late Lance Reddick.

The migration of A24 films to Netflix continues with the recent acquirement of the 2022 horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies, named after the classic party game that takes center stage in the movie.

A group of 20-somethings reunite at a remote family mansion for a weekend of partying that soon descends into debauchery and murder when their game takes a grisly turn. An ominous and offbeat slasher, Bodies Bodies Bodies manages to elevate its simple premise with sharp dialogue and dark hilarity interspersed with genuine scares.
