In fact, November 2025 looks to be a particularly thrilling month for binge-watchers. However, among the dozens of fresh releases, there are three new Netflix shows in particular that we believe are absolute must-watches. We're not saying forget all the others. We just recommend that you put these three at the very top of your watchlist.

As You Stood By
- Release date: Nov. 7, 2025
2025 has been an extraordinary year for Netflix when it comes to Korean content, and the streaming giant continues to prove why it’s one of the best places to discover entertaining series from South Korea. Now, the anticipation is building even more because Netflix is about to release a brand-new dark thriller series, and it looks to be one of the most exciting Korean shows of the year.
It's called As You Stood By, and the plot is sure to pull you in right away! Based on Hideo Okuda’s novel Naomi & Kanako, the series follows Eun-su, a skilled VIP luxury handler at a department store, who is still haunted by the trauma of witnessing her father’s violence as a child.
Her best friend, Hui-su, once a promising children’s book writer, is trapped in an abusive marriage that has stolen her freedom and sense of self. When Eun-su learns the extent of Hui-su’s suffering, the two friends take desperate, drastic action, plotting to confront and eliminate the source of her torment. Jeon So-nee takes on the role of Eun-su, and Lee Yoo-mi as Hui-su. Also in the cast are Jang Seung-jo, Lee Moo-saeng, and Lee Ho-jung.

The Beast in Me
- Release date: Nov. 13, 2025
Another new Netflix thriller series worth checking out this month is The Beast in Me. From the plot to the cast, everything about this show screams must-watch. It's a miniseries consisting of eight episodes, so it’s perfect for a binge session without feeling overwhelming.
At the center of the story is Claire Danes as Aggie Wiggs, a woman whose life has been upended by the tragic loss of her young son. Once a creative force as an acclaimed author, Aggie is now a shell of her former self, struggling to find meaning and purpose.
But when her new neighbor, Nile Jarvis (played by Matthew Rhys), moves in next door, everything changes. Jarvis is a charismatic and enigmatic real estate mogul with a dark past, including suspicions surrounding his missing wife. Aggie becomes instantly drawn into his world and is eager to uncover the truth behind the mystery that surrounds him.

Last Samurai Standing
- Release date: Nov. 13, 2025
The title was what personally piqued my interest about this show, and then when the trailer dropped, I was officially sold. Last Samurai Standing is a Japanese historical drama that plunges viewers into the turbulent Meiji era, a time when samurai have lost their status, their swords, and their way of life. The series follows a deadly tournament where hundreds of warriors compete for a massive prize, but only one will survive.
One of the participants, Shujiro Saga, enters the competition not just for the prize or glory, but for a deeply personal reason. He has a sick wife and child, and he hopes that by surviving the tournament (and presumably winning the reward), he can help them out. Junichi Okada stars as Shujiro. The cast also includes Yumia Fujisaki, Kaya Kiyohara, Hiroshi Tamaki, Hideaki Itō, Gaku Hamada, and Hiroshi Abe.
