It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… well, almost! Netflix is wasting no time spreading holiday cheer this year because the streaming giant is unwrapping its festive lineup early, and we couldn’t be more excited. Forget waiting until late December to deck the halls, because four brand-new Netflix Christmas movies are headed our way in fall 2025!
Hallmark is usually the go-to for holiday movie magic, but Netflix is stepping in with its own festive flair. Over the years, we've seen a bunch of great Christmas movies released on the platform. Remember Falling for Christmas, Meet Me Next Christmas, Best. Christmas. Ever!, Our Little Secret and Hot Frosty? Well, you can expect this new fall lineup to continue that tradition of heartwarming stories, swoon-worthy romances, hilarious holiday hijinks, and cozy winter vibes!

A Merry Little Ex-Mas
- Netflix release date: Nov. 12, 2025
A Merry Little Ex-Mas stars some pretty well-known celebrities. Remember Clueless star Alicia Silverstone or Nashville's Oliver Hudson? Well, these two play the central couple at the heart of the story. Silverstone portrays Kate, a recently divorced woman hoping for one last perfect family Christmas before putting her house on the market, while Hudson plays her ex-husband Everett, whose surprise appearance with his younger, successful new girlfriend throws Kate’s holiday plans into utter chaos.
Also in the cast are other talented actors such as Jameela Jamil, Pierson Fodé, and Melissa Joan Hart. This will be the first Netflix Christmas movie to be released in 2025, and based on the newly released trailer, it definitely doesn't look like one you want to miss!
Champagne Problems
- Netflix release date: Nov. 19, 2025
Up next is Champagne Problems. Did you enjoy Minka Kelly in Ransom Canyon? If so, you won't have to wait until the second season to see her back on your screen. She stars in this upcoming Christmas rom-com as a driven M&A executive who travels to France to finalize the acquisition of a world-famous champagne brand just before the holidays. However, her carefully planned mission takes an unexpected turn when she falls head over heels for a dashing Parisian who, much to her surprise, happens to be the son of the company’s founder.
Joining Kelly in the cast are Tom Wozniczka, Thibault de Montalembert, Sean Amsing, Flula Borg, Astrid Whettnall, Xavier Samuel, Mitchell Mullen, and Maeve Courtier-Lilley.

Jingle Bell Heist
- Netflix release date: Nov. 26, 2025
After starring in the gory flick Heart Eyes earlier this year, Olivia Holt is switching genres for her next project, stepping into the festive and fun world of holiday rom-coms. She stars in the upcoming Christmas rom-com, Jingle Bell Heist, as Sophia, a witty and resourceful retail worker who teams up with Nick, a struggling repairman, for a daring Christmas Eve heist at London’s most iconic department store. As their plan unfolds, growing feelings and emerging secrets make it harder for them to succeed with the crime.
Starring opposite Holt as Nick is Sex Education star Connor Swindells. The rest of the cast includes Lucy Punch, Peter Serafinowicz, Poppy Drayton, Michael Salami, and Mariah Louca.
My Secret Santa
- Netflix release date: Dec. 3, 2025
Last but certainly not least is My Secret Santa. Where are all of the Virgin River fans? You're going to want to check this Christmas rom-com out because it stars Alexandra Breckenridge as a spirited single mom who, desperate for work, disguises herself as a man to land the seasonal Santa gig at a luxurious ski resort. Of course, things get complicated and hilariously heartwarming when she starts falling for the hotel manager, putting her secret and her budding romance at risk.
New Amsterdam's Ryan Eggold takes on the role of the hotel manager. The cast is also made up of Tia Mowry, Madison MacIsaac, Diana Maria Riva, and Dominic Fox.
You will be able to stream all four of these Christmas movies on Netflix very soon!
