Netflix stacks March 2026 movie lineup with Jack Black's latest blockbuster

The actor remains one of the funniest actors on the big screen, starring in massive titles and franchises like Kung Fu Panda, Jumanji, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, A Minecraft Movie, and now the meta-reboot of the 1997 adventure horror film Anaconda. The new movie from Sony hit theaters on Christmas Day 2025, and it's finally making its way to our Netflix watch lists in March 2026.

Anaconda coming to Netflix in March 2026

Netflix will add Anaconda (2025) on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, three months after the movie made its theatrical premiere, which slightly earlier than anticipated for its streaming debut. While it's the seventh entry in the franchise, the new version of Anaconda isn't a direct reboot or remake of the original classic. Jack Black and Paul Rudd play friends who take it upon themselves to create their own remake but end up being attacked by a giant snake.

Anaconda first hit theaters back in December 2025, and while the movie earned middling reception from critics, it managed to become a modest box office hit. All told, the movie made over $134 million worldwide against a modest $45 million budget.
