Just as Paramount and Warner Bros. are coming together in a new merger, Netflix and Disney have been busy striking up a new streaming deal. While the two companies have had a relationship in the past with various movie and shows from Disney heading to Netflix, the competitors have agreed to an exciting nonexclusive content licensing agreement that fans are going to love.
The mutually beneficial deal begins in October 2026 with a number of Disney-owned and/or original series arriving on Netflix in addition to a batch of Disney movies. On Oct. 4, the first two seasons of the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson & The Olympians begins streaming ahead of the Nov. 20 premiere of the third season on Disney+. The first two seasons will be available on Netflix globally.
Unfortunately, there's a downside to Percy Jackson's availability on Netflix, as it's for a limited three-month window to help inspire new fans to check out the third season. On the same day, Netflix will add all five of the current Ice Age movies, which will also be available worldwide and have a three-month window that leads up to the theatrical release of Ice Age 6 in February 2027.
October will continue to be a fruitful month for television fans thanks to the Netflix and Disney deal bring back the iconic '90s teen drama series Felicity. All four seasons of Keri Russell's breakout, Golden Globe-winning role will be available in the United States on Oct. 7 ahead of The Diplomat season 4 premiere on Oct. 15. Felicity will reportedly drop on Netflix internationally at a later date.

But there's even more! Nov. 3 will bring the global Netflix release of the first four seasons of ABC's crime drama Will Trent before the fifth season premieres in early 2027, and on Dec. 1, the networks hit sitcom Shifting Gears drops its first two seasons around the world. The sitcom starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings also returns for season 3 on ABC at the beginning of next year.
The CBS drama series Tracker, which is produced by Disney and stars Justin Hartley, will arrive on Netflix in February 2027 with its first three seasons. Other shows expected to find their way to Netflix at some point in the near future are ABC's soapy drama Revenge, Lifetime drama Army Wives, ABC comedy series Fresh Off the Boat, and NBC family drama This Is Us.
The dates, availability windows, and regions are to be announced for the four aforementioned series, but Fresh Off the Boat has been confirmed to come to Netflix in the US. Meanwhile, This Is Us isn't expected to return to the streaming service stateside since the series already had a limited run on the streamer and his since left under Netflix and Disney's previous streaming deal.
Beyond the nine shows that will be coming to Netflix, the streamer will also gain access to the Disney movies Soul, Elio, and Raya and the Last Dragon, which will all arrive in 2027. It's unclear whether more movies will be added to the list in the future, but these are the three Disney movies fans can expect to watch on Netflix globally in the new year.
As a recap, here are the nine Disney-owned shows coming to Netflix:
