Ophelia Lovibond takes on the lead role of Joyce, while Jake Johnson plays the low-budget publisher Doug Renetti. Also in the cast are Michael Angarano, Jessica Lowe, Oscar Montoya, Lennon Parham, Idara Victor, and others. You can expect both seasons to land on Netflix.

Let's get a little serious for a moment. This week, Netflix will also be releasing a new historical drama miniseries called Death by Lightning, and it's perfect for those interested in the untold stories of history, the intense drama of political power, and the human stories behind headlines. The series brings to life the fascinating and tragic story of President James A. Garfield, whose brief presidency as the 20th president of the United States was cut short by a shocking assassination.
There are four episodes in total in Death by Lightning, and you can expect all of them to drop on their release date. Oscar-nominated actor Michael Shannon stars in the leading role as James A. The Vince Staples Show season 2
- Release date: Nov. 6, 2025
Get ready, because this week, Netflix is bringing back one of the funniest and most unpredictable shows on streaming with The Vince Staples Show season 2. From the very first season, Vince Staples proved that he isn’t just a rap superstar. He's able to turn everyday life into a hilarious, thought-provoking, and wildly surreal viewing experience with this comedy series.
In season 1, we watched as Staples, playing a fictionalized version of himself, dealt with bizarre, chaotic, and hilariously absurd situations across his hometown of Long Beach, California. In The Vince Staples Show season 2, the fun and the chaos escalate as Vince embarks on a road trip with his mother and sister following the passing of his Uncle James. Also returning for season 2 besides Staples are Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones.
