The following article contains spoilers for the latest episodes of Love Is Blind.
It’s that time of year again—we are only a week out from the latest Love is Blind finale, and we have to take the ultimate test: who's actually going to go through with the marriage, and who isn't. And this season has been…rocky, to say the least. To be honest, I'm looking forward to November, when so many new shows start, so that I can forget what happened this time around.
The latest batch of episodes gave us an idea of what the couples will do. One of them just ended up breaking it off altogether—Rob and Michaella. But good for Michaella, because I wouldn’t want to be in that situation either. Rob spoke to one of his former matches at a meet-up, but because he was worried (and drunk) about how the show would spin it, he freaked out and called the experiment "b*lls*it," which led Michaella to end the engagement. It’s almost hilarious because they were one of my definite “yesses” before watching these episodes. Yikes.
But for the four couples remaining, there are some definite yeses, some “eh’s,” and a “no” I’m pretty confident about. Let’s get into it.
Probably not: Cameron and Aneha
I really wanted to support these two when I first saw them. I come from a mixed marriage, so any time I see cultures collide and work together, I’m always down for it. But these two… I can’t see it.
At the very least, they started to seem like they were connecting by the end of the most recent episodes. But that spark of life between them is still missing. With some of the other couples, you can really see how much they care about each other. In very different ways, sure, but these two… I always feel like it’s lukewarm.
They also have major societal differences, and they don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things. Whether it’s money, where they’ll live, kids, or something else, they have a lot of kinks to work through. I do believe there’s some chemistry there, but this relationship would benefit from a longer incubation period than the few weeks they’re given before the wedding. So I don’t know about saying “I do.” They won’t end up in the most “disliked couples” ranking, but they’re just sort of… there.

Probably not: Blake and Erika
Look, I'd love to sail the world on a yacht. Heck yeah. But that’s clearly not what Erika wants.
It’s been sweet that, for most of the show, she’s tried to stand by Blake’s side, saying she would support his lifestyle and, hopefully, someday move into a more stationary life. However, from the moment we see her house and hear her talk about kids and what she wants in life… Blake really isn’t the guy who should provide that for her.
Nothing speaks louder than the fact that when she brought up having kids in three years, he visibly flushed with shock and didn’t seem keen on the idea, even though they're both in their late thirties. Afterward, he said it was good for him to talk about it, but the fact that he’s still bringing it up with his friends later says a lot. I don’t believe they’ll work out, just because they want two very different lives. And that’s okay.

It’s a toss-up: Wilson and Wilnie
You know, I’ve been curious about these two for a while, but I don’t know if they’ll say yes or no. It’s the one couple I’m not sure about. If you'd asked me a week ago, I would have totally said no, because I feel Wilnie expects a lot from Wilson. That's not a bad thing; plenty of relationships are like that and work well. But Wilson didn’t seem too keen on a couple of things at first.
He was worried about paying for things, cooking for her constantly, and her cleanliness, among other things. But in the latest episodes, I feel we’ve seen a much closer side of them, as if they've really worked through a lot of their issues. However, Wilnie also said that she didn’t feel she had everything she needed yet to be fully happy, so I’m not sure. She got emotional about her wedding dress, but anyone could. God knows I did.
I hope that they work out, because they seem pretty sweet when things aren’t rocky.

Definitely yes: John and Sarah
I wrote a piece a couple of weeks ago about how I had a bone to pick with Love is Blind and how none of the couples felt super genuine. But now, I don’t feel that with these two. And these episodes have only proved it.
Yes, they come from two different backgrounds, but of all the couples on this show, they're the healthiest and seem to talk about everything. They work through many of their issues and genuinely love each other. I can see in his eyes, every time he looks at her, how obsessed John is with Sarah, and vice versa.
I would be stunned if these two did not say “I do,” because I can feel it through the TV. They were one of the few couples I was rooting for in the pods, and now, I hope they say “I do” on the stage too. Here’s to them.
You can catch up on all episodes of Love is Blind season 11 on Netflix before next Wednesday's finale.
