The countdown to Christmas is on and there is a lot to look forward to as a television fan on and around Christmas Day this December!
Netflix is dropping the second volume of Stranger Things 5 with three new episodes arriving on Christmas Day. Disney+ fans will have new episodes of Percy Jackson season 2 and the Taylor Swift Eras docuseries to enjoy. The season finale of Heated Rivalry season 1 drops at midnight on December 26. Needless to say, there is a lot to look forward to and there might be one additional gift waiting under the tree for Bridgerton fans as well.
This December, Netflix has been gifting fans with 12 Days of Bridgerton, using the fun holiday-themed campaign to drop new character teasers and new photos from the upcoming fourth season. So far, these releases haven’t given too much away; however, that could be about to change on Christmas.

Netflix may drop the Bridgerton season 4 trailer on Christmas Day
As any Bridgerton fan will tell you, Christmas Day has been an important day in the franchise since the beginning, which literally began on Christmas Day 2020. The first season of Bridgerton arrived on December 25, 2020, and quickly became a global phenomenon.
While the first season remains the only season to release on Christmas Day, Netflix has made an annual tradition of gifting Bridgerton fans with something special every Christmas to mark the occasion. Past years have brought major announcements, including release dates and confirmation of season’s central couples. With season 4 part 1 set to premiere on January 29, it would make perfect sense for Netflix to drop the official trailer for the new season on Christmas and keep its annual tradition going by gifting Bridgerton fans with something of note on the holiday.
With the season just weeks away, Netflix has been ramping up the promotional campaign for the season, but we’ve yet to get an official full-length trailer for the season. Instead, we’ve had to settle for clips and photos of Benedict and Sophie’s forthcoming season.
Dropping the season 4 trailer on Christmas Day would be an amazing gift for the Bridgerton fans across the globe counting down to the new season, and there’s really no better day to drop the trailer than on Christmas. This is almost exactly one month out from part 1’s release, which is very much in line with Netflix’s typical timeline for a trailer’s release, and with the season so close there’s really nothing better Netflix could give fans than the trailer for the season.
We’re ready to get a proper look at the season ahead, and Christmas won’t be complete without a gift from Bridgerton waiting under the tree.
