Calling all sci-fi fans! Netflix is about to make your November a whole lot more thrilling with the addition of a show that was not only loved by critics but audiences alike. It's a series that will easily remind you of an episode of Black Mirror, in the way it mixes near-future technology, human desire, and moral dilemmas into stories that are as fascinating as they are unsettling.
Soulmates is officially coming to Netflix! Maybe you got the chance to watch this amazing series when it was airing on AMC back in 2020, but if you didn't, the perfect opportunity to do so on Netflix is almost here.

Soulmates will officially be released on Netflix in November 2025
So, when exactly in November is Soulmates scheduled to land on Netflix? Well, the official Netflix release date is Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. No, this isn't a made-up release date. It's the real deal! You can even check the show's title page on Netflix if you don't believe us. A Nov. 6 release notice will appear right away.
However, the release time for when the sci-fi series will drop on the platform is currently unknown. Maybe it'll be released at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, since that's when Netflix typically drops new shows and movies for everyone to watch. But there's no confirmation of this. If you’re eager to be among the first to stream this series on the platform, it’s best to keep an eye on the show’s Netflix page or set a reminder in the app so you can start streaming the moment it becomes available.
While this November release date is new, we're not surprised that Soulmates is coming to Netflix. Back in September 2025, news broke that AMC Networks and Netflix were expanding their partnership. This expansion would bring a wide range of AMC series, including high-concept, anthology-style shows like Soulmates, to the streaming platform.
We just didn't have a release date at the time. Now that we have one, all there is left to do is mark your calendar, set your reminder, and clear your schedule. There are a couple of Netflix shows releasing on the same day that you might want to watch. They are The Vince Staples Show season 2 and Death by Lightning.
But if you’re a sci-fi fan, Soulmates should definitely be at the top of your priority list. Unlike the two shows just mentioned, Soulmates is a licensed title, which means it won't remain on Netflix. So, this should be even more of a reason to prioritize it on your watchlist.

What is AMC's Soulmates about?
William Bridges and Brett Goldstein created Soulmates. Bridges is best known for co-writing three episodes of Black Mirror, including "USS Callister : Into Infinity" from the latest season. This is likely why Soulmates carries that same thought-provoking, near-future vibe. Goldstein, on the other hand, is known for being the co-creator of Apple TV+'s Shrinking.
Unfortunately, the sci-fi anthology series was canceled in February 2023 after previously being renewed for a second season in August 2020. Although never officially confirmed by AMC, the reason for the show's cancellation was rumored to be due to Goldstein’s increasingly busy schedule and low ratings.
Soulmates takes place 15 years in the future and centers around a world where a company called Soul Connex has developed a revolutionary test that can identify your one true soulmate with perfect accuracy. Each of the six standalone episodes explores the profound, often messy, and sometimes unsettling consequences of this technology on people’s lives and relationships.
This short-lived series also had a star-studded cast, including Sarah Snook (Succession), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, One Night in Miami…), Malin Åkerman (The Hunting Wives, Watchmen), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Bill Skarsgård (It, Hemlock Grove), and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), among others.
Soulmates will be available to stream on Netflix starting Nov. 6.
