Bryan Cranston’s gripping legal drama Your Honor is reportedly nearing the end of its current run on Netflix, with What's on Netflix suggesting a possible departure in May 2026. While the removal has not been officially confirmed by the streaming giant, the potential departure has put the spotlight back on one of the most emotionally intense crime dramas in recent years.

According to the news outlet, Your Honor is expected to depart Netflix on Sunday, May 31, 2026. While this date isn't confirmed, this is something to keep in mind as the month approaches. What's on Netflix is typically accurate with its reporting on removals, but until Netflix officially confirms the date, it’s best to treat this as tentative.

If Your Honor does end up departing Netflix, the entire series is expected to be removed. That means both seasons, which is 20 episodes in total. Could the show ever return to Netflix? It’s certainly possible. Streaming rights often shift over time, and titles frequently cycle on and off platforms depending on licensing agreements.

However, there’s no guarantee, and if the series does leave, it could be unavailable on Netflix for quite a while. The good news is that it'll likely remain on Paramount+, where it's also currently streaming. Why? It's because the show originates from Showtime, a brand that falls under Paramount’s umbrella. You'll also still have the option to purchase individual episodes or complete seasons via digital platforms, so the show won’t be totally inaccessible even if it leaves Netflix.

Developed by Peter Moffat, Your Honor was originally adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo. At the center of the show is Michael Desiato, played by Cranston, a highly respected New Orleans judge who has spent his life believing in law, order, and accountability. Michael is a man defined by control and someone who trusts the system because he is the system.

That belief, however, collapses when his teenage son, Adam, becomes involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident. What initially appears to be a tragic but straightforward case quickly escalates into something far more dangerous when Michael learns the identity of the victim. It's the son of a powerful crime boss. In that moment, the line between justice and survival begins to blur.

Faced with the very real possibility of losing his son to retaliation from a violent criminal underworld, Michael makes a decision that changes everything. He decides to cover up the crime. What then follows is a carefully constructed spiral of deception, where one desperate decision rapidly unravels into something far larger than Michael can control.

Your Honor season 2 picks up after the fallout of season 1 and focuses on the consequences of Michael's decisions rather than the initial cover-up. Michael is left emotionally shattered and dealing with the aftermath of everything that has gone wrong, as the story shifts from hiding the truth to living with it. His actions continue to ripple outward, affecting everyone connected to the case.

The Baxter crime family arc also carries over, with ongoing tension, retaliation, and power struggles shaping the next part of the story. Overall, the second season is a darker, more reflective continuation that centers on guilt, consequence, and the lasting impact of irreversible choices.

Besides Cranston, the Your Honor cast is made up of Hunter Doohan, Hope Davis, Sofia Black-D'Elia, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Michael Stuhlbarg, Carmen Ejogo, Andrene Ward-Hammond, Keith Machekanyanga, Benjamin Flores Jr., Lilli Kay, and others.
