Netflix’s daily top 10 lists are always the perfect gauge of what the world is currently watching, talking about, and obsessing over in real time. As of right now, one film title is dominating the conversation. Bob Odenkirk’s latest action thriller, Nobody 2, has quietly but powerfully made its way to the very top of the streaming giant's top 10 movies list.

Nobody 2 was just added to Netflix on March 14, so the speed at which it has captured audiences’ attention is nothing short of remarkable. For many, Odenkirk’s transformation from Emmy-winning dramatic actor to full-fledged action star has been one of the most exciting evolutions in modern cinema.

While audiences first fell in love with his subtle brilliance as Jimmy McGill in Better Call Saul, few could have predicted that the same actor would dominate explosive fight sequences. Yet in Nobody 2, he does exactly that.

The 2025 film serves as a sequel to the 2021 action thriller flick Nobody. In addition, Timo Tjahjanto directed the movie from a screenplay that was co-written by Derek Kolstad and Aaron Rabin. Nobody 2 picks up the story of Hutch Mansell (played by Odenkirk), aka the suburban dad with a dark past, and thrusts him back into a world where danger is never far away.

Audiences last saw Hutch navigating the aftermath of a violent home invasion, unleashing skills he had long kept buried. In this sequel, those skills are tested in new and increasingly audacious ways, all while Hutch tries to maintain a semblance of everyday life with his wife, Becca, and their children.

Nobody 2 opens with Hutch attempting to reclaim peace through a family vacation to Plummerville, Wisconsin, a quiet town with an amusement park that holds personal nostalgia for him. But what should be a relaxing escape quickly devolves into chaos. A seemingly trivial altercation between his son and a local bully sparks a chain reaction, drawing Hutch into conflict with the town’s corrupt sheriff, Abel, and its unscrupulous park owner, Wyatt.

The stakes quickly escalate even further when Lendina, a ruthless crime boss played with icy precision by Sharon Stone, enters the picture. Hutch then finds himself confronting enemies who are more cunning and dangerous than ever before.

Returning for the sequel alongside Odenkirk are Connie Nielsen, RZA, Colin Salmon, Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath, and Christopher Lloyd. Nobody 2 also welcomes newcomers, including Stone, John Ortiz, Colin Hanks, Daniel Bernhardt, and others.

Unfortunately, the first film is not available to stream on Netflix like the sequel. However, you can stream it for free on Prime Video at the moment. If you finish Nobody 2 on Netflix and are still in the mood to watch more of Odenkirk's work, you can always check out Better Call Saul and W/ Bob & David. Both shows are currently streaming on Netflix as well.
