37. Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark

This is the third stand-up special from Trevor Noah you can watch on Netflix, but it’s the first Netflix special for the host of The Daily Show. Naturally, if you’re a fan of Noah’s wit and comedy he brings to the national audience as the host of the Comedy Central show, you’re going to love Noah in Afraid of the Dark.

Noah filmed the special at the Beacon Theater in New York City and dishes on topics like colonialism and just how ridiculous that concept is. He also touches on the controversial topic of there being a black James Bond and the challenges that actor would be presented with if he played the role of 007.

Also, Noah covers racism, sexism and why New Yorkers are seemingly oblivious to traffic lights, or at least, oblivious to what they are intended for.
