6. Meet The Parents

Greg Focker meets his girlfriend’s parents for the first time, but it doesn’t go as well as he was hoping. Focker (Stiller) wants to propose to his girlfriend Pam (Polo) but first, he has to get the blessing from her parents, including her overprotective and overbearing father Jack (De Niro) who is suspicious of Greg.

So what does a suspicious father do?

Well, if you’re Jack, you hook him up to a lie detector to see if he’s been smoking reefer, among other things, and inspect him to see if he’s worthy of marrying your daughter. De Niro and Stiller worked really well off each other and you know Wilson and Stiller have a terrific on-screen chemistry so this is a really fun movie with a lot of laughs.
