This is the movie that launched Matt Damon and Ben Affleck into superstardom in Hollywood. After writing the script for the movie they two won an Oscar for their work. They were also pretty good in the movie itself about a young man named Will Hunting who is the walking embodiment of wasted potential.

He’s a brilliant mind with a gift to solve the most complex mathematical equations, but he’s spending his days working as a janitor and his nights chasing girls and drinking in various Boston-area bars. When Will solves an equation while working as a janitor at M.I.T. and then works with a professor and later a therapist to work out some of his personal demons to maximize his potential. Outside of all that is a touching love story about doing whatever it takes to make sure you don’t miss an opportunity at love.
