Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Release Year: 2007

Written by John Logan

Directed by Tim Burton

Starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, and Sacha Baron Cohen

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is based on the musical of the same name written by Hugh Wheeler and Stephen Sondheim.

In the film, which is set in the Victorian era in England, Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) is a barber and a serial killer who takes revenge on those who wronged him earlier in his life.

As you will notice, there are tons of Tim Burton movies in this list, and that’s simply because Burton just gives off the Halloween vibe in all of his movies! Unfortunately, The Nightmare Before Christmas is no longer on Netflix. Hopefully, it returns soon, but for now, enjoy Sweeney Todd.
