Scary Movie 2 is the first sequel to the original Scary Movie. In the movie, most of the main cast returns to their original roles.

In Scary Movie 2, Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, and Ray are asked to take part in a study at a mansion where a scientist and his henchman are studying the paranormal. Things go wrong immediately!

The film parodies a ton of horror movies and horror movie tropes from The Exorcist, The Legends of Hell House, and Poltergeist to name a few.

Scary Movie 2 and Scary Movie 3 are included in the list of the Best Halloween Movies on Netflix! Scary Movie 5 is also on Netflix, but it did not make the cut.
