In the film, Nick Persons (Ice Cube)  agrees to take his romantic fling’s children from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, British Columbia to be with their mom for New Year’s Eve. The trip is a disaster and doomed from the start.

For the most part, Are We There Yet? Is not really a holiday movie and it takes place after Christmas. But, it is categorized in the holiday movies on Netflix category.

There is a sequel to the film and was released in theaters in 2007. Are We Done Yet? is also available to stream on Netflix, but it is not considered a holiday movie. Make it a double feature with Ice Cube this weekend!
