November Rule is not a holiday movie, per se, but because it takes place in November and around the holidays, it’s one of the movies listed among Netflix’s holiday favorites.

In the film, Steve (Mo McRae) has a “November Rule,” which means that every November, he breaks up with his girlfriend to make sure that he doesn’t get too attached, especially during the holidays. This year, though, he regrets his decision to let her go.

While November Rule is not that well-known yet, it’s a decent movie to watch this holiday season. You can get in the holiday spirit without getting that full dose of Christmas or Thanksgiving like you will with the rest of the movies on this list if you know what I mean.
