Have you seen the movie Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray? If so, you’ll find a ton of similarities in 12 Dates of Christmas. It’s virtually the same premise, set at Christmas, and like 1,000 times worse than Groundhog Day, though.

Even so, 12 Dates of Christmas isn’t that bad if you’re into the cheesy, romantic comedies that are so popular around the holidays. The movie premiered on ABC Family in 2011 as a part of their 25 Days of Christmas run on the network.

In the movie, Kate (Amy Smart) is forced to live the same day, which happens to be Christmas Eve, over and over again until she can get out of the cycle. Luckily, somewhere along the line, she meets Miles (Mark-Paul Gosselaar aka Zack Morris), and the rest is history!
