The Legend of Frosty the Snowman is based on the old Frosty the Snowman cartoon released in 1969.

In the movie, Frosty the Snowman “shows up” in the town of Evergreen, a town with a no-fun and no-nonsense attitude, which is regulated by the mayor and school principal, and shows the townspeople and the mayor’s children that magic, especially Christmas magic, is real.

Overall, The Legend of Frosty the Snowman isn’t as good as the original, but it’s not that bad for the kids. It is one of the best Christmas movies on Netflix to just throw on for the kids while you are doing other things.
