A Very Murray Christmas is the first Netflix original Christmas special with no affiliation with one of their TV shows.

In the special, Murray plays himself as he plans to host a live Christmas variety show at the iconic Carlyle Hotel in New York City. On the day of the big show, a huge snowstorm hits the NYC and prevents the audience and some of the performers from making it to the show. Murray tries to make the most of a bad situation with a lot of music!

Overall, I couldn’t be more happy with A Very Murray Christmas. It has everything that we could want in a Christmas special, including music, laughs, huge stars, and that Christmas spirit. Sure, it’s not winning any Oscars this year, but it’s still a fun time and a good movie to get you in the Christmas spirit.
